New German Shepherd + Collie

I just got a new shepherd collie mix two days ago she is 11 months and looks mostly german shepherd so shes pretty big her old owners never gave here attention and didnt train her at all so shes a little crazy buts shes learning fast on most things like begging. But the big problem is she can climb the fence in our backyard and gets out everytime we let her out there whats the best way to train her to stay in the yard and not jump the fence. PS I have a pretty big back yard with normal little wire fencing.

I guess my first concern will come out more as a question:

Why (if you are doing this) are you leaving your dog along unattended in your back yard?

If you are leaving it alone for long periods of time in the back yard, you can't expect it to train itself.

I suggest crate training your dog, and then house breaking her, so that she can be a part of your family life.

That way, you won't have to worry about her jumping the fence.

I can say with a large degree of certainty that you will never break her of jumping the fence while she is unattended.

Bored dogs can get themselves into some terrible and dangerous situations.
