regulating playtime???

We brought home a new puppy yesterday, Henry, he is and 11 week old Bernese Mountain Dog and weighs 25 lbs. We already had a 15 month old shih tzu mix named Kaya who weighs 7 lbs. (Weird mix of dogs, I know). Anyways, we are trying to get them to adjust to each other, right now, Kaya is not too pleased and snaps at him a lot which is completely not like her normally. Will this get better? Also, when they try to play, Henry gets a little rough with her and I'm not sure how far to let it go. Obviously we are always supervising but do they need to kindof work it out themselves or how should we regulate their playtime. I am concerned because full grown Henry will be around 100 lbs and Kaya is full grown at 7 lbs and I don't want him to hurt her. Any advise is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
