| The Dog Whisper helped me Cesar Millan is an awesome dog trainer that can help even the worst dog owners in crazy situations. Has anyone ever seen his show? I TIVO it every week, so I'm sure not to miss it. I have got a lot of help with training Samson and myself from watching. Cesar has taught me to stay CALM in all situations with Samson. Usually I freak out and start yelling and gettin soooo fustrated with him. All dog owners should check out the show sometime or go to his website and read up... **Link Removed**
Also on the website Cesar has **Link removed** of his products all packaged and ready for Christmas! They include his DVDs which can help a lot. Better Hurry, we only have 21 days left to Christmas!

| On Cesar's show, it says several times during that show NOT to try his methods without first consulting a professional... Be careful. >X.x;<
Also, I'm a bit turned off by your first post at our forum being a "Dog Whisperer" advertisement. >X.x;< |

| yeah..that sounded a whole lot like advertising.
While I don't 100% agree with CM I would'nt go to the extreme of calling him cruel, misguided perhaps would be a more appropiate term. He has done a lot for dogs, but his mainstream status has been a double edged sword. There are a lot of people out there that believe that learning about dog behaviour starts and ends by watching CM and reading his book. The Dog Whisperer is great entertainment, but if you are serious about dealing with a dog related problem, consult a professional, or at the very least research beyond what CM says/does. |

| I know of several dogs he has 'helped' that 'popped off' with no warning and did enough damage they had to be euthinized. Not to mention the GR his staff nearly killed by fastening it onto a treadmill with a chokechain around it's neck. The dog became exausted and fell and was nearly killed. That was his remedy for a FEARFUL dog. Don't you think the dog was MORE fearful afterward? |

| I have a friend who watches that show religiously. I guess Ceasar does this one behavioral technique where he jabs the dog in the side of the neck with his two fingers. My friend recommended I try this on my dog since I'm training him. In my mind I'm thinking "Are you f'in nuts?! Do something you saw on TV? Plus someone like me, who has no experience in that?!"
It reminds me of those "Jackass" movies where those kids do extremely stupid things because they saw it somewhere.
There is no way on God's green earth I'd ever do anything I saw on TV, especially to another living thing where there is the possibility of doing serious harm.
Be careful. |

| I have removed the advertisement from the OP's post. It seems they are posting it for personal gain, due to the same exact post being on many different forums. |
