| Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? I have Snoopy on a potty schedule that he had seemed fine with. In the afternoon he gets taken out at 3pm when I get home from school then again around 5pm. Well around 7:15pm I had Snoopy on the bed with me and he was laying on my pillow and then he just got up and started to walk and I noticed the pillow was wet. So I smelled it, and yep it was pee. He peed all over himself and he got some on my comforter which soaked all the way to the mattress. Snoopy has never had an accident except for those times when I was off of school and he got off of his schedule. Do you all think I need to take him to the vet? He only had a small amount of water after I had taken him out at 5pm. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? I wouldn't get too excited tonight, but I'd watch him close for at least the next couple of days and at the first sign of discomfort maybe yes I'd give the vet a call.
Or, if you're really concerned, you could get a sterile cup and collect some pee. Put it in the fridge overnight and drop it off at the vet's for a urinalysis. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? What Chrissy said. I wouldn't panic over one accident, but if it persists or if Snoopy starts acting "off," I'd call the vet.
Are you still having nasty weather? Some dogs react strangely to tstorms and barometric changes. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? Sometime dogs just have potty accidents. I wouldn't rush off to the vet over one. Watch a few days and see what happens.
...and what Lorina said |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? Maybe he was just scared and peed because of it. Seems odd that he peed laying down though. I too would just watch him for a little while. Wouldn't hurt to call the vet if he seems off or does it again. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? I don't think I would worry, how old is Snooopy? You said the weather wasn't good and he could have been nervous. I know my dog holds it all in during rain and snow as long as he can---for some reason he will not go outside in ba--d weather very easily |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? Well the storm was yesterday, so I don't see how he'd be nervous today. He actually likes going out in the rain and snow so I don't think it was that either.
Ginny, in my sig there is a image that says he is 8 months and 4 weeks old. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? Quick question that may not apply. Does Snoopy mark at all or pee many times outside on each trip? I ask because my male papillon would pee 50 times on each trip outside if I would let him. He loves to mark trees, posts, etc. If I take him outside to pee quick I have learned to be very concious as to how much he goes before taking him inside.
He does it less now, but when he first started to lift his leg he was like a little kid with a new squirt gun. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? If he seems off in any other way over the next few days you might want to have him checked out. But after years of having dogs they all seem to have a "brain fart" once in a while. I just cleaned up a rare piddle puddle this morning after having a night of very strong winds that may have disturbed the dogs. |

| Re: Pee'd on bed, vet check in order? Well he seems fine now, he eats breakfast, 3/8th of a cup, but he doesn't always eat dinner. |
