Good quality leather training leashes

Hello all I was wondering where you guys buy your good quality leather leads from. I used to get mine from a feed store nearby and loved them. They last me for years but it recently burned down.

Anyhow, i like the 1/2 thickness but my shepherd chewed through hers last night (it was my fault). I took her for a walk after work and I was so hungry I just let her inside and left the leash on. It wasn't on her for more than 5 minutes before she ate thru it.

It was probably about 10 years old anyway, i had used it with dogs in the past and just loved it.

A friend at work suggested jandjdog.com and had a magazine and I was thinking of ordering one but i've never been very big into online purchases because you never know what you might get. I like seeing a product and buying it, etc...

Also, petsmart and petco leashes seem to feel so cheap.

Re: Good quality leather training leashes

I buy all my leather training supplies at www.rayallen.com. I still have leashes I bought 10+ years ago and they still look new. They have the 1/2 in widths in many different styles and I think they're reasonably priced.
