We have two dogs about the same age (age-5)
One is a Lab & Chow mixture the other is Border Collie
& chow mix. The Lab is 90 lbs. and the Border Collie
is about 55 lbs. The Border Collie has been intimidating
the Lab so much that the Lab is afraid to go past her. It's usually about a toy or a bone. We usually give them the same thing. Whatever the Lab has the Border Collie wants even
though they're exactly the same. The Border Collie is
very bossy (female) and the Lab(male) is very timid and easy
going. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior?
Separate them when they have bones so they can enjoy them in peace. Sometimes, you have to choose if it's just easier to manage the situation instead of trying to teach whole new behaviors.
