Or you could just drop some rat posion in there. <= Sarcasm BTW. I would say that's a little too severe. I think there are 2 trains of thought. The first being that dogs dig. Try to get them to keep in one location. Whether it's a certain area of the yard, or someone on here suggested buying a baby pool and filling it with sand. Reward them for digging in the designated areas, and if you catch them elsewhere, take them back to the digging hole. The other is that the dogs dig because they have energy to burn or are bored. Toys are great, but no substitution for excercise. How much does your Pyr get? Some people have had solved the problem by burying the dog's poop in the holes. I personally have had no such luck with that, but seems to work for quite a few people.
