Hey guys whats up? I have a problem with my 3 year old lab collie mix. He is a neurotic mess. Every time that someone comes within a block of the house he goes nuts, he refuses to walk around the block, people refuse to come to our house because they are scared that he will attack them. To top it all off, he bit my girlfriend the other day and now I think she might be scared to come over. This dog is a total mess but I love him and I don't want to do anything too drastic, he's my best buddy. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would take him to the vet and make sure is doesn't have any health problems. He could have inherited this behavior. Look for a good obedience trainer and a good behaviorist which also could be a vet. I would go to a vet behaviorists. You don't really give any details on how you interact with this dog. Have you been to training? Have you done any training with him? How do you deal with him when he acts out? If you have spoiled him and let him do whatever, whenever he wanted. This is what you end up with.
