Agility question - new member.

Hello,
my name is Lara and I have got three beauiful dogs, Shelly, Jack and Edwina (Eddy for short) who are all rescues.

The question I have is that I really want to do agility with Eddy in four months (she would be a year old by then) but I also want her to be spayed as well.
Could I do both? As I have heard that if you do shows with the dogs, they cannot have the opertion.

Many thanks,

Lara.

Yes you can still do agility with altered dogs. The only thing you can not do with an altered dog is show Conformation classes.

I'm a new member here, too. And, yes, altered dogs may compete in agility in any of the agility venues in the US (AKC, NADAC, USDAA, CPE, UKC). As previously stated, only in conformation does your dog need to be intact. So, go have fun!
