| What tricks can your dog do? What tricks can your dog do? Snoopy can sit and when I put him on his back and say "Root for your favorite team" he will put his front paws in the air. Here is a vid of it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lx0usAof3XU |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? I don't have any videos, but here are the tricks each dog can do:
Tank: Sit, down, army crawl, pray and high-five.
Henry: Sit, puppy circus (dances in a circle) and we have almost got the hang of high-five.
Beau: Sit, down, speak, roll over and give paw (not exactly the same as high-five).
Since Tank is so food motivated, he's the easiest to teach tricks to...even though Bulldogs are supposed to be one of the most "intellectually challenged breeds" |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Jenny is my star agility dog. *big grin!* She's known as the weave pole pro, because she's obsessed with weaves, if you put her on a course unsupervised, she'll weave in and out of the weaves perfectly until you come and drag her away. (Do not ask why lol!)
Here she is weaving at guide canin trial...
She also does a lot of tricks just around the house, like shake. Of course, she knows all the basic sit, stay, come, lie down, stuff.
Sorry they're not very good pics |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? I was in the middle of an obiedeance competition and Kramer was off lead when he looked up at me I knew he was taking off and I was to late to grab him. He climbed the bleachers and sat between my father and husband just to leave me standing there looking stupid. I turned to the judge and told her that I also trained him to do that, I know she didn't believe me but it was a good laugh for all because it was long and getting a little boring.
Peekaboo with the one eye gives high five and rings a bell to go out.

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Besides the normal sit, down, stand, leave it, drop it, front and finish/heel positions, Riley can dance on his hind legs and twirl, you go bang and he lies on his back, he can rollover on command, shake hands and bow. He also does fetch and drop. Whenever we're working on a new stay command and we get frustrated I've noticed Riley will do one of his tricks - like rolling over , or dancing just to show you that he can do something. It also makes me laugh so I'm less tense. Next week he starts a click and trick class to learn even more tricks. He's been terrible with the stay command - does well until I move (does much better with his trainer though)- but he really picks up the other tricks quickly. I think he thinks they're fun. I'm currently working with him on weaving thru my legs as I walk. Kind of fun. |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Jaylie was FANTASTIC at the "Leave It" command, as you can see here.
Blitz and Jaylie know all the basic commands...Sit, down, stay, leave it, heel, back, etc...Here's a video of Blitz when he was in his early training...I had him for only a WEEK, and he knew all of these commands!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=g4N766dNXFY |

Sorry they're not very good pics | WOW, that's very cool! Hey, my friend has a puppy (Thirteen weeks) that she wants to get into agility with. What age do you usually start? Do you know of any websites that she could find an instructor with?? |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Amaya - sit, stay, howdy, dance (where she stands on her hind legs and spins in a circle), nite nite (she lays down on her side), heel, come, leave it and jump. If I stand above the bed I can hold Amaya for hours but when I say Jump she will jump out of my arms and run all around the bed and come back to do it again.
Mazie - Sit, jump up, speak, howdy, nite nite, stay, come, leave it
Marley - Sit, stay, down, come, heel, jump up, leave it, howdy, nite nite and a few others. He knows the most. Extremely smart boy.
A few of our cats also know how to say hello. Which is really just them meowing lol. |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Beavis knows sit, down, stay, leave it, up (stand up, but it's more of a jump up because he's too top heavy to stand for more than a second), go to bed, go in the crate, front door, back door, front gate, back gate, house (go inside), paw (both paws, but it's not as good with the left because he can't see on that side), high five, wave (right paw only), play dead, jump through a hoop, let's go home (when we're walking, he'll turn around and head home) and sing, where he howls/roos. If he barks instead of howls, I tell him, "shh, inside voice" and he howls quieter.

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Riley does high five but the funniest thing he does, he taught himself, we didn'tteach him. On a hard surface like a deck, patio or sidewalk, he llikes to "dribble" a tennis ball. He will walk back and forth bouncing it on the ground and catching it in his mouth, over and over, he keep himself very entertained and it cracks us up. |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Eddie: sit, shake, stay, leave-it, down, watch me, speak (bf taught him that one) maybe one or two more. He's horrible with his recall. However, Uallis is great at it and they are always together, so I call Uallis and both come running.
Uallis: sit, come, high five (up high and down low) He half way knows "down" and "up".
Dan used to be a able to sit and shake, but he can't hear people say the commands anymore, so he just does what he wants. |

| Re: What tricks can your dog do? Lily, my Siamese cat knows: sit, down, speak, paw (shake), jump (wow can she jump, up to my shoulder & Im 5'6"), and twirl. She knows what "come here" means, but shes a cat! So she takes a message and it depends on what she feels like whether she comes sooner, later, or not now. |
