| Has anyone tried this collar? Has anyone tried the Illusion Collar and Leash set by Cesar Millan? Here's a link to it: http://cesarmillan.securesites.net/index.php?cPath=76
Just wondering if anyone's tried it and if so, whether or not you like it. |

| Re: Has anyone tried this collar? I use martingales, so...no, I haven't used that one. I'd like to see one on a dog in person...if they work, I would probably prefer that collar to a head halter type, which I really dont' like at all (would never and have never used either) |

Yes, I'd like to see one on a dog in person too. I really don't like the harness we have and am looking for something else. Maybe someone here has tried it and can tell us what they think. I've seen Cesar give it to people to use on their dogs, and it worked really well for them. |

| Re: Has anyone tried this collar? It sounds just like a Slip Collar only it fits so it stays at the top of the neck. From watching the video and reading the FAQs, you need to correct the dog just like you would with a slip collar...it just enables the correction to be done at the top of the neck.
From my understanding, it looks to be a collar that holds the choke chain in the proper posisiton, nothing more. (Good idea for those who use slip collars though, as I've seen so many that were improperly fitted.)
Ha, and I had to laugh...the lady in the video, when she is correcting her dog, is correcting up....I thought when you used a slip collar you were supposed to snap outward and down, as to not hurt the dog? Or at least that is what Brian Kilcommons says. |

| Re: Has anyone tried this collar? that looks like it could do damage if someone give it a good tug.... same problem that we see with halties and gentle leaders... if you give a correction you could hurt the dog....
besides to me things like that are crutches..... train the dog to walk nicely.....
and its not a problem

| Re: Has anyone tried this collar? This type of collar has been around at least since the late 90's. CM's collar is hardly original or new. Scruffy Guider |
