Anti-Pulling Aid That Works!!

Hi,

Just thought I'd put a quick post up for anybody that has a pulling dog!

The Canny Collar is the best anti-pulling aid I've used (and I've used quite a few!!)

When I got my Springer girl she was so under-socialized that she was lunging about on her lead whenever she saw anything new and, though she's now socialized unfortunately the lunging and pulling stuck and nothing would train her out of it, so after trying Halti's, harnesses, check collars etc, I found the Canny Collar, it really works!

As it doesn't pull to the side (it has a nose strap that attaches to the lead on either side of the head) the dogs don't get sore necks from being jerked round.

Hope this helps anybody out there struggling!

Hi there I thought I would let you know that I found a leash on line called the bungee leash. For dog's that pull its great. it stops any yanking because the leash stretches out a few feet, and the yanking on my stopped. I laughed yesterday. I was in a pet store, and my dog started to walk down the aisle there was no pulling on my arm and when the leash streched as far it could she came sliding back to me and I never had to change my footing. I bought it at a web site called **Removed Unauthorized Ad**.

I have a canny also and use it on my 1 yr old Catahoola. She doesn't like it much because it controls her. But that's the beauty of it. One difference is that the halti
stays on the muzzle whereas when there is slack in the Canny, she is able to get it
off. I still prefer the Canny because the leash snaps behind the neck instead of under
the chin. Also, when she is "relaxed" I can slip the muzzle strap off and just use it as
a regular flat colar. It's worth the extra in shipping.

I use the HALTI no pull head collar for my lab. It works great!

I've found good ol' fashioned leash training works well. And it doesn't require any special tools beyond the regular collar your dog already has, a leash and a little time and effort by the human.

Doe's the canny work similar to a show leash, holding the head up?I have a couple of lab/beagles 10 mos.that are a real nightmare when it comes to pulling
you, nose down all the way.But I have found as long as their head is back they are much better.
