Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

I don't know if this site has been posted before, but I am IN LOVE with this business!

I am a dog "apparel" junkie, and I just love to have something totally unique and different.

The collar is custom made for your dog although I think they do have a ready to wear section.

You choose the fabric, the thickness of the collar, the type of fabric, even the hardware that's on it, whether it be a normal metal buckle, plastic buckle etc etc.

They have fabric collars with super cool designs as well as custom made leather collars. Both the fabric collars and leather collars have the option of embroidering your dogs name on them.

I just bought 8 collars! 6 fabric collars and 2 leather. I think the fabric collars are around $30, and the leather (embroidered and with patterns) cost around $50. Those are all large sizes as well.

Check it out if you love collars!

Oooh, man - I love them! I'm constantly on their site surfing around, but then I've always been a fan of the wide collar style. The dogs always look real sharp wearing their new collars.

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

I know Dakota!! I've been on their site everyday since I ordered... I don't know why because there aren't any new fabrics, and I very thoroughly looked through them all when I ordered (also made a two page long list for collars that I HAVE to get eventually... ROFL) but there might be something I missed!

Also the woman who makes the collars, Lisa, is very quick to reply to any e-mails you send with questions. She replies within 24 hours guarenteed, usually less.

And that's how I got to the site too, looking for wide collar styles! I'm a fan of crazy designs, but when the collars are so thin, you don't really get to get the whole "feeling". Plus I've got bigger dogs!

Yes, Lisa truly is a pleasure to work with. Collarmainia is quite popular among APBT owners - so I see a lot of her work on other breed specific boards any it's always so professional looking. Well worth the money, IMO.

-nods- Exactly! I'm a terrier person and terriers have long curvy necks that don't always do the best in those little thin collars either.

Oh, and you'll need to post some pictures of Hades and Roxy with their new looks

Very nice collars! Really love there Leathers, I have a hard time finding wide collars that are not leather and have buckles. Instead of those little black clips. APBT's are famous for breaking them hehe, really nice. I'm have to invest some in them, really nice fashions

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Yes, that's who referred me there, an APBT on another dog board.

I cannot wait the two weeks it will take because I'm in Canada! I'm practically bursting!! ROFL!

Because I ordered so much she had e-mailed and told me she would spend a whole day just doing my stuff to get it out sooner, but it's not soon enough!!

Destiny - There are so many different types to choose from when it comes to the fabric collars. All the leather have metal buckles, but I believe you can choose if the hardware is brass or nickel.

With the fabric collars there are adjustable no buckle collars, which I absolutely love because it makes the collar look so sleek. Then the black plastic, metal buckles, and metal versions of whatever the black plastic buckles are called!

So much choice! ROFL!!

I will definitely post pics when I get them!

I was looking at mysignature like.. why did I get 8 collars when my dogs never wear collars?!?! ROFL! But I like them to "dress" up when we go out. LOL

We got Maddie's first Collar Mania collar last week. It definitely won't be her last! They are awesome--very fun to create, and they look great. This is a wonderful company.

We posted pictures of her collar here: http://www.maddiethedane.com/weblog/...llarmania.html

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Actually I bought more than 8!

Just now I ordered two more! ROFL!

I've got three fabric collars each and two leather collars each coming... So that's 10! LMAO! I can't control myself!!

I had ordered the leather collars so quickly I really didnt' think about colour schemes. Roxy got a bright, metallic red one, with black embroidery and white rhinestones and Hades got an olive green one with orange lettering.

I just ordered Roxy a white leather collar with red embroidery and red rhinestones and Hades a bright yellow one with black embroidery on it.

Much better colour schemes! ROFL!!

I've got a whole list of other fabric ones I'm going to get, but I had to order the two leather collars that I came up with.

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Thanks for the site. Now I know what my dogs Christmas present will be. Last year they each got a blanket with their name on it. That was a big hit.

I do wish they made harnesses though. Dawn has back problems and can't wear a collor. But I will get her a leash to match the pink sparkle harness she already has. Can't wait.

Oh... Alpha I too am a dog apparrel junkie. Do you have any great sites with big dog clothes. I got them a plaid sweater from Old Navy last year for only $10 each. They are really light weight, so the sweaters don't hinder their movement at all.

But it's so hard to find quality clothes for big dogs. Any other suggetions?

LOL! Sounds like a mess I'd get my own self into . Our dogs must have only the best after all. They can't be walking around with odd colors around their neck!

I know, I love the fabric collars. Their martingales are really nice AND the worrisome "I want to baby my dogs" side of me loves the option of putting soft fleecy material on the underside of the collar .

You must be on edge waiting

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Dob, I DO HAVE AN AWESOME site for big dog hoodies, t-shirts! ROFL! I'm glad you asked! ROFL!

www.doggietshirts.com

Roxy is the biggest size, an XXXL, she's around, 26" tall, 92 lbs... long in the back, and it's fit her perfectly!

They have super-cute sayings, Hades last one says: Bitches love me! ROFL

Roxy has one that says "Bad to the Bone"..

Really cute sayings on blank hoodies, or really nice patterned hoodies. My guys have the camo patterns and the "argyle" prep patterns.

Fairly cheap and they have a "Buy 3 get 1 free" deal. I think the XXXL hoodies were around $30. Not that bad really for something unique, trendy and cool.

bm- I know! I just can't get enough of the site! They're variety in styles is just amazing! Not only are there a whack of fabrics, but you CHOOSE what buckle, what type of collar.

Dakota - I can't wait! Lisa should be sending pics of them any second now, so I'm stuck to the computer, constantly checking my e-mail! ROFL

I loveeeee this site. Thanks so much. My dogs are about to have a t-shirt for everyday of the week. I wish I could get one for Ollie, but I refuse to buy her stuff while she is still growing. Nonetheless, she feels very left out walking around naked as the day she was born.

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Ha ha! Poor Ollie

All that stuff is too expensive to buy if she's not going to last in it for long. She'll catch up in time though, when it comes to her wardrobe! ROFL!

That site has very high quality sweaters. I haven't bought any of the t-shirts ever, only hoodies. My first go at buying dog hoodies, I had bought from three different sites. Roxy only got her hoodies from that site though as I couldn't find any other sites that would have stuff to fit her.

Anyways, when I got them in, I ended up putting Hades hoodies from other sites in a garbage bag in the closet and ordering him new ones from that site. They're just good quality sweaters.

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

I got pics of the dogs new collars today, they should be here in a few days. I'm so happy with how they turned out!

But here are pics of two of the leathers:

Hades, dark green with orange:

And my favourite of all of them, Roxy's white with red rhinestones :

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

The top one looks black and orange in the picture, so my first thoughts were that it was Harley Davidson colors . I love the Celtic symbols on the side.

Roxy's is pretty as well - I've always loved that heart font.

Will you only be receiving two at a time?

Re: Love Unique Dog Collars? Look here!

Well the bf's fave colour is green, and mine is red. It just so happens that Hades looks fantastic in green and roxy's black coat with a bright red.

So that makes for quite the dilema when I've got a peeve about green and red together... too Christmassy.

I thought the darker green would be okay with the white and red. They HAVE to be co-ordinated Ha ha!

Nope, all are coming at once. I have pics of them all, I just didn't think anyone would want to see all of them! LOL
