Thumbs up Chaco Sandals Dog Collar

Here is a link to the collar being referenced: http://www.mountaingear.com/pages/pr...tem/209700/N/0

I'm sure some of you have heard of Chaco Sandals. They are a hiker/paddler's best friend in the summer. They are nearly indistructable, barely there and SOOOO incredibly comfortable. Anyway, recently it appears they have started manufacturing dog collars and leashes from the straps they use on their sandals. Briliant!!! I ordered one and it is amazing. The coolest collar I've seen. My Alaskan Husky and I are always outdoors beating up our gear. This looks like it's going to go the distance. It's made from the webbing they use in their sandals so it's extra strong. It has a bomb proof buckle and has a clip for ID tags an inch away from the D ring attachment. I have thought about buying the Ruff Wear Hoopie Collar but didn't like the fact that the tags, which were on a different attachment point like this, were on the side of the neck. This one places the buckle an inch from the D ring which is in the center, and then the ID clip an inch on the other side. It evens them out, gets rid of the jingle and keeps it away from hardware attachements (tie-outs, leashes, etc.)

I recomend this product to anyone with an active lifestyle. Yukon and I sure enjoy it.
