Hi,
I’m Marie from Australia, and my amazingly beautiful little baby, Liulu, is the new addition to the family. I got her from a pet store which gave me a birth certificate stating that my little Liulu is a “POM X”. They did not specify what she was crossed with so I asked, and they said “Maltese”. As this was not on her papers, I question the truth in it. My grandmother has a Maltese and I know their appearance and mannerisms. Liulu does not appear to be one. So PLEASE! Help me find out what cross breed she is.
I have been studying her over the last few days. Enjoy!

Mannerisms:

• Very cat-like. Toys with things using paws, pounces and crouches. Has a fascination with playing with my cat and hardly plays with my other dog.
• Devises witty plans to steal toys from other pets; (eg. Annoyingly toys with Milly’s ear to create diversion then dives under Milly’s belly to retrieve the plastic sausage)
• Constantly whinges for food.
• Tilts head when high pitched sounds are made.
• Responds more to cat noises than dog noises.

Personality

• Extremely intelligent
• Affectionate
• Playful
• Loyal
• Obedient (mostly)
• Bitchy when tired or doesn’t get her way
• Attitude (Barks back) when told “no” or “naughty”
• Stubborn when mind’s made up


Appearance:

• Predominantly Cream (with some white)
• Dark Chocolate eyes
• White eyelashes (long)
• Black eyeliner
• Soft, fluffy, double coat on body, whereas fur on paws is silky.
• Larger paws for her legs/body
• Floppy ears
• Brown belly skin (with some pink)
• Upward curled tail
• Very long, fine, white whiskers above her eyes. Yes, above her eyes.

What a cute little puppy!! At first glance I am leaning towards maybe a little eskimo spitz type? My daughters friend has one with those slightly brown tinges on the ear tips too..

Yay another aussie Gorgeous pup, so so so so cute! Im not sure on his breed it is so hard to tell, however I really dont believe there is any maltese there! The face looks famililar, like a breed Ive seen before, Ill have a think and get back to you!

If there is really pom in there, then mixed with sheltie probably..

What a cutie pie you have there. She does look like a Pomeranian mix but it is hard to say if there is Maltese in her.

Can I ask something, in that last picture is that a male?

hahaha i thought the same thing! but no, that's how she is. definitely a girl though! I have been cleaning up after her this month

i feel the same, but i saw her in the window and it broke my heart to see her caged up in that tiny thing so I saved her and we've been in love since. she's truly my soulmate.

definitely not a sheltie. but you could be getting somwhere with the spitz.

I have been looking through the pictures my daughter has sent me of her American eskimo her friend has, but as of yet, I would not post it without permission. When/if I get it- I will post it.. Its very similar. Now her friends is an adult now, but somewhere on one of our computers is a picture of the dog as a puppy..

Hey Everyone!

Thank you for your responses.

I took her to the vet for her second immunisation treatment and she was SO brave I was so much more scared than her haha.

Anyway the vet told me she's definitely mixed with a maltese, I guess he knows what he's on about, even if i don't see it.
