Ohio Attorney General agrees to investigate breeder

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Ohio Attorney Generals office is investigating the breeder that I bought my Yorkie (or at least thats what he was supposed to be) from last March.
The reason I am posting this is because they advertise puppies on a lot of different sites and I want everyone to be aware of them.
As I said I purchased a puppy from them last March and as it turns out i never got his registration papers, he has a horrible underbite, Jill Maki the owner changed her email so that I couldnt contact her. She won't answer my emails or phone calls, even the BBB can't get in contact with her.
They also have a website that sells puppies and supplies the address is http://www.duimelotjedogbakery.com/ if you see an ad placed by the DO NOT RESPOND they are a total rip off.
They run their business out of their home in Creston OH, all this information is available on their website, their phone number, in case its in the ad is 330-435-6299 and their address is 1800 Steiner Road. The name of the company is Duimelotje Dog bakery and Puppies.
I have reported them to every agency available, the Dog warden in Wayne county is also investigating them.
Please pass this information on to others so that they don't get ripped off by the Maki's. They are the type of breeders that give breeding a bad name!

who in there right mind would intentionally breed a Chihuahua and a Jack Russell? And even more so who would pay $550 for one.

They call them designer dogs. Mixing two breeds together. And that is big business this day and time. I have seen the Puggles pug/beagle. They can go for $400.00 and up. It's no different than a cockapoo, labradoodle, and know I've heard of Goldendoodles. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm not a breeder, just a owner of two pems (who are purebreed).

I know they call them designer dogs, but they are usually breeds that have a certain size, look, or characteristics that are marketable. I don't agree with it but I understand it. But a Jack Russell and a Chihuahua? Talk about a crazy hyper little mutt.

Thank you for doing this! My pug was the result of similarly poor breeding. He has extremely small nostrils, vision problems, and a congenital disease, as well as a number of other undesirable characteristics. He's a good dog but the people who bred him obvious were just out to make a buck. Good for you for doing something about it!

BBB investigating Breeder!

I just received a letter from the BBB where I also filed a complaint, they sent me a copy of the response from the Maki's. They responded exactly the way I thought they would, they LIED! They said that they sold me the puppy as a "pet" and that they never said anything about him being registered. Wow to think that someone in this day and age wouldnt think I would save all my emails..... DUH! I had every email she sent with all the exucse why the papers hadn't gotten here yet and I sent the BBB all of them. Seems they arent as smart as they are greedy! hahaha
As much as I would like to recover some of my money it is just as important to me that the Maki's realize that they can not get away with what they did. That just because their business is online doesn't mean that they don't have any responsibility to their customers, it doesn't mean they can lie online take my money and expect me to do nothing. I'm sure they thought because I was so far away I would not pursue this matter, they couldn't be more wrong. I will continue to dispute this until it is resolved.

This is a picture of Seamus and Cooper, Cooper is the puppy in question and as cute as he is and as much as we love him I think its pretty obvious he isn't pure Yorkie.
