This is everest, i recently got him from the local spca. He looks a little different now, i'll have to update a pic, but to me he looks like a australian shepherd, golden retreiver mix, and that's my best guess. The spca said st. bernard mix. but i see none in him, i know they just guess at it, but i dont see it at all, what do you think? thanks

A cute dog with a great name. It has many features of a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Great knowledge, i thought i knew a lot of breeds, but i cant remember much about the duck tolling retriever, strangely enough, this breed has looks like a mini golden retriever.

He's cute and thats all that really matters. If I had to guess from the pic I would say there's some cattle dog in there.

I'd guess Australian Cattle Dog (not Australian Shepherd) based on his markings- he's ticked, not merle. (Aussies *Can* have ticking, but the ticking plus the color-headed-white patterning is very, very typical of an ACD.) The fluffy coat could come from any number of breeds, and could also just be puppy coat.

He looks like a Australian shepherd/Cattle Dog mix to me.
