2 Year Old Cocker Urination Trouble

Hi Everyone,
I own a male 2 year old Cocker, who was fixxed about 4 months ago.
Prior to being fixxed, he would mark my furniture all the time. After the operation he 100% stopped this behavior.
In the past few months since the operation he has had 4 accidents where he loses control of his bladder and starts to urinate.
Tonight he was laying on the couch next to me and I felt something wet. He urinated himself without even noticing. Im going to go and say im partially to blame since I didnt want to let him out cause I was watching a TV show. But is it possible for him to simply not be able to hold his bladder anymore.
He was let out around 5 hours prior to this happening.

Another situation occured where my dog jumped onto the kitchen table and ate 1/4 of a watermelon. Later that day he was next to my wife and just began to urinate uncontrollably.

I honestly dont think he has any medical issues, his eating/drinking habbits have been the same since he was a puppy. He is very active and his weight has been within .2 lbs for the last 2 months.

Is it possible that his marking was keeping this from happening before he was fixxed?

Any suggestions would be great...

THANKS

Personally I think I would have a vet check him first and rule that out and then go from there. It always seems that issues like that are medically related. Hard to tell what is happening inside them even when they look fine on the outside Just my thoughts! Better safe then sorry!

See a vet. He could have something as simple as a urinary tract infection (UTI).
