| Re: Roxy is slipping away Well, you got my tears too. I don't know if Roxy will survive but I do know that obviously you are loving, caring people who are giving this dog the best life she would have ever known. You are also quite talented in the video department. If this helps, our daughter is home from college and the four of us went out to dinner tonight (our son is Travis). After dinner we went to the North Shore Animal League (nsal.org) like we used to when the kids were little. We were petting a dog that was recovering from parvo so she can get better, I hope so, I really do, her eyes do look bright. You have our prayers... |

| Re: Roxy is slipping away Do NOT lose hope. My first dog was given to me when he was 45 days old. The next day I had him he refused to eat and even drink water on a hot summer day. The day after, I took him to the vet. My pup was diagnosed with parvovirus…It was really difficult for the first 10 days as he was taking a lot of shots…Ultimately, he grew up a healthy, strong dog. Do what the vet tells you to do and the rest of us will pray! |

| Re: Roxy is slipping away I've been in your shoes more than once. Just keep doing whatever it is that you're doing with all the love you have left to give. Life is unfolding as it was meant to be. You have done everything you can. But in the meanwhile, don't give up. Stranger things have happened. |

| Re: Roxy is slipping away I have to agree do NOT give up!
A guy we know has an APBT, he had parvo, and went undiagnosed for WEEKS! The dog was severly underweight, losing hair, lethargic etc. They diagnosed him. He went on for about 3 months, then the owner decided that he was going to put him down that weekend. Spent his last days with him, and the dog got better. It was a long hard road, but he made it. One of the most beauitful APBT's I've ever met. |

| Re: Roxy is slipping away I am so sorry to hear that little Roxy's condition is worsening. I said some prayers for her this weekend and I hope she can still overcome her illness. You are doing a wonderful job taking care of her and giving her the best chances for making it through this. You video tribute to her was absolutely wonderful. You will both remain in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care. |
