| Re: dogs dye my mom has a friend with poodles that she dyes different colors for all the holidays and whatnot, im not sure where she would get it though, you could probably google it and buy some online, or ask at a petsmart or something. |

| Re: dogs dye Most groomers could do it or know where to get it done.
If you want to do it yourself I'd start at PetSmart type places to see if they stock it or know where to get it. |

| Re: dogs dye When my daughter, who I'm pretty sure is blond, wanted to annoy her parents, she would color her hair with Koolaid.
The colors were very vibrant and, eventually, would wash out.
She doesn't do that any more, now that she's old-enough to get tattoos.
(Note, I am not recommending Koolaid, but I think it might be better than green house paint, which is what my friend Chris and I used to paint the neighbor kid when we were all about seven.)
I have to say, in all honesty, that it would never occur to me to recolor my dog, but nobody else seems surprised by this, so it must happen all the time. |

| Re: dogs dye I've never recolored my dog either and never would, I dont like the look really.
I did accidentally dye Nikki hot pink once. (The ink in her collar ran in the tub and I forgot to take it off) Her white fur on her neck was bright pink for weeks. Everyone stopped to ask me why I dyed her. LOL |

| Re: dogs dye I was going to say koolaid also. It stains and stays for a while, ti eventually washes out, buf if you have a white dog, and you put red koolaid in his hair..It will take forever to get out..I know because Amaya drank my koolaid and had a red mustache for months lol |

| Re: dogs dye Some breeders dye their dogs coats for dog shows to make it look better, they also do it at cat shows. As a matter of fact it is a very common thing to do at cat shows. I see the Persian people do it and I know the Siamese people do it. They use make up. I was taught to put it on Lily but when I started going to shows on my own I stopped putting the make up on, I dont like to cheat, in fact I noticed she wins when she doesnt wear make up and she usually doesnt with make up. |
