| Re: Oh I Have A Dog Question!! Only you know your own heart.
I love dogs, but I don't think I could honestly say I find all dogs lovable. In fact, I've probably only met a dozen or so in the past ten years that I'd want living in my house.
I love people, in general, but the number of people I could actually live with is probably much smaller.
The easy answer is to say we love all God's creatures, in a stewardship sense, but that's a tough statement to live up to. |

| Re: Oh I Have A Dog Question!! I love dogs. They are wonderful animals, but there are many breeds I don't want to own.
The really big dogs are too big for me, and I'm not one for curly haired dogs either. Don't hate me poodle owners! My grandmother had a wonderful toy poodle years ago, but they aren't for me.
Labs are great dogs, but I can't handle their overly exuberant energy level. I can't own huskies, malamutes, and many others for the same reason.
Give me a dog with a nose, a face I can see without clipping, and fur to brush. That is what I want in a dog. No hairless dogs for me.
But, when I need a new dog, who knows what I'll find in the local animal shelter? I never thought I would own a toy dog, and now I do. He's my little buddy, and I love the twerp. |

| Re: Oh I Have A Dog Question!! To each his or her own. I thought I loved all dogs, until I met some that just got on my nerves...but I think that's more reflective of the owner than anything. I respect all dogs, but I definitely wouldn't own just any dog, particularly not small dogs. I certainly wish no harm on any dog, or animal for that matter. |
