Help Promote DogForums!!!

If you check out my signature you can see it has the stats from this forum along with my username / avatar and all that fun stuff.

Personalized banners are a great thing to use on sites like MySpace and/or Dogster. They let others know that you are part of a community that you helping to grow.

So if you're a big fan of this site and you want to help bring in new members then follow the steps below to get your own signature picture.

If you go into your userCP ( http://www.dogforums.com/usercp.php ) and scroll down so you can see the last section of the right hand column, there is a link that says "Generate Sig Pic". (or you can just click >>> http://www.dogforums.com/gif.php )

Copy the code that is provided and paste it in where you are allowed to have pictures.
(HTML is good for MySpace & Dogster/ BBCode is good for other forums)

What's cool about this is that it will automatically update itself every couple of days. So if you have it running on other sites they can watch your post count increase and I'll be working on usergroup titles so they will change as well.

Keep in mind that this is something that I create myself, mostly from scratch so there may be a couple quirks that need to be ironed out. I know rotating gifs aren't that successful and I may need to work on the default avatar.

I wanted to get this out there so everyone that wanted to try it out could. I hope you enjoy. Please post all bugs you find in this thread.
