i dont know if any of you remember me but my girlfriend recentley had to put down their 13yr old dalmation princess due to a tumor on her throat causing hard breathing...well i was really concerned about her son max who was inseperable from princess for the past 10 yrs but it seemed that he was doing fine...he was eating okay and going to the bathroom okay...he was moping around the house but we figured that it was normal...after all he just lost his mother...well my girlfriend took max to the vet today to have his teeth cleaned and have the 2 tumors on his belly and chest removed and we get a call from the vet saying that max died on the table...i was completley torn apart and my girlfriend cant believe it...we have spent the past 9 days spoiling max rotten so he could get over the loss of princess faster and now this...i dont know what to think...he was perfectley fine...the vet said he was able to get his heart beating for about 5 minutes but he just wouldnt start breathing....he gave him mouth to mouth and everthing...i believe max saw princess when he was put under and princess told him to come on home and without thinking max went ahead with her...it feels so loneley here without him....any words of encouragment would help....and the thought of another puppy is out of the question
it is soo hard losing one dog but both dogs that have been with the family 10 and 13 yrs withing 11 days...its been tough...but i feel God has his hands on us and like the good book says..."This too shall pass" and "With God all things are possible" and i feel with the help of God this hurt shall pass and come the joy of having them as long as we did
