Well a few months ago a good friend of mine and I had a very nasty argument. She was moving to Nova Scotia with her husband so he could pursue his career further. We had a fight over such a meaningless thing, she was packing and was using newspaper and I mentioned that bubble wrap would protect her crystal figurines much better than newspaper and she disagreed. We were both under alot of stress, her because of the move and me from work and some family issues. Well one thing led to another and the fight escalated and I ended up not even calling her the next day to wish her a safe flight or good luck. I haven't spoken to her since that day. A few weeks later I found Sadie.
Last monday I got a phone call from my friend. She had come back to windsor because her mother was sick and she had to help out for a few days at home. She called me and we ended up going out for lunch and appologized and had our cry and I told her about Sadie. She said I must have found Sadie because I needed another someone special in my life after she had left in such a whirl wind. Well we spent the entire week keeping her moms house in order and catching up with eachother. It was wonderful and I feel SO much better.
It kind of made me remember that sometimes things happen in life that weren't meant to happen but we always find a way to get around it and make things right again.
And I am happy to report that her mother is much better (she had the flu) and my friend and her husband purchased their first house on a large piece of land. Her horses now have a permanent home. I am thinking about flying out to see her this summer. I know Chloe likes the east coast....maybe Sadie will to!
