You know how they have all these mutts now a days that sell for extreme prices ?!? These are some I remember off the top of my head and what they really are :

Ori Pei= Pug X Shar Pei

Puggle= Pug X Beagle

Bug= Boston terrier X Pug

Cockapoo= Cocker spaniel X Poodle

Pekepoo= Peekinese X Poodle

Yorkiepoo= Yorkshire terrier X Poodle

Labradoodle= Labrador retriever X Poodle

Poxie(or Doodle)= Dachshund X Poodle

Chiweenie= Chiuawa(sp?) X Dachshund


I am not saying that they are bad dogs I just don't care for them. I don’t get what the point is to create these new "breeds". Wasn't every breed created for a purpose? These breeds are just (IMO) to make a few extra bucks. Anyone have any thoughts on this or any other "designer mutts" that I didn’t say? Thanks!

Im sure mine before she found out she wasnt they would have called her " Shepei " or 'Sharpherd" They said she was a Shar pei and shepherd mixa . . . . .

I sure agree with Ron this topic has been beaten to death. Anything against the"designer dogs has been said MANY times.
