I have a 11 month old female dog that started to bleed from her private parts about a week ago. The bleeding has stopped, but in the same area it has now become swollen. Is this normal?, is my dog in heat?, im concerned so any help, and I will be thankful for.

Not to worry. She is just in heat. Just keep an eye on it and make sure she doesnt start bleeding again and everything will be fine.

Yep, I'd agree its a heat cycle. You might think about having the girl spayed so that you don't have to go through this again - plus it will keep your furbaby from developing all sorts of health issues later in life.

yup, she's in heat.....its the joys of owning a female dog...lol
