I used to buy this huge (10-12 bones per bag) bag of 6 inch knoted rawhides at Sam's club for aroun $9, but they stopped carrying those and now they only have the rolled up type with no knots. As it turns out my dog could not care less about the plain rolled ones, he loves the knots. I've been searching for good deals on those cuz it sort of adds up, my dog will tear one appart in an evening. Anyone know where to buy these in bulk?, I found a place online, but the shipping made it ridiculous.

Most wholesale clubs have it, i.e. BJ's and Costco, but if the plain rolled up ones don't sell so well Sam's Club may bring the knotted ones back.

Just make sure the rawhide is made in the U.S.A. Who knows what they do to rawhides made in other countries. No offense to those living in other countries. I guess I should say, make sure the rawhide is made in the country you live in. It's no guarantee of quality, but I would feel safer about it.

ah, the wonders of retail capitalism........he just loves ripping the actual knots off the whole thing....he's getting pretty good at it too...
