yet another...what breed am I?

Hey all Im new to the boards. My wife and I just adopted a new friend for our beagle to play with. I am curious what breed you all think he is? I know what the papers from the shelter say(and who knows if they are right or not), and I know what i think he is, so what say you all?

Maybe Visla/boxer? He's a beautiful dog. He looks like he could run forever with those legs, lol!

I guess I picked Boxer over Pit Bull because the nose looks sort of turned up/dish-facey, and because he's so lanky. I could be totally wrong, though

You know.. His nose/snout kinda looks like Nubs' in a way, thats one of the reasons I thought Pit Bull at first. lol.

Vizsla are kind of lanky anyways, most of them tend to be all legs! At least the ones I've met..

I could be totally wrong though...

hes real skinny due to having both tape and hook worm (damn shelters) which he is being treated for. Thank god hes tested negative for heartworms though. The shelter said vizsla/lab mix but I was thinking boxer as well. Its just hard to say because his head is not very wide, at least not boxer/pitt wide.

We just tell everyone hes a Vizsla. He sure has the energy and ungodly speed of one.

Yeah, I would say vizsla/boxer or some other bully too. I don't see much lab in there.

Vizsla/pit here too... you know how old he is? The head is always the last thing to develop on bullys. Also being mixed he might never get that blocky head.

As the owner of 2 boxers and a pitbull, I'll tell ya, I do not see ANY boxer in him. I don't actually see any bully breed in him at all. Definitely a Visla mix...I honestly don't think the shelter was too far off to call him a Visla/Lab mix. It's always possible that he is a just a poorly bred purebred Visla too.

as far as age goes he's anywhere between 1 and 2 years old. So we are taking the middle and saying 1.5. Everything about him screams vizsla except his tail, too long, and ears ,too short.

I don't think pit mix either but the dog is a beauty,Vizsla for sure and maybe the shelter was spot on with the Vizsla/Lab mix,people often see a red nose and assume pit bull.
The dog reminds me of a golden red nosed version of missmutts dog marge.
