I went to the shop for some stuff earlier and took a shortcut through the park and i see a new SBT owner with a nice 9 week old chocolate brindle pup.

I stopped to ask if i could pet the dog and he said yeah. Got talking and this guy and his chick didn't know nada about dogs at all i asked how his personality was and he said "he's up for it man he don't stop biting me but it don't hurt" i told him to stop that before its too late and he runs into serious problems but he said when it gets too much he'll give him a box (punch/slap)

I didnt bother going into DF mode on this punk because we would have more than likely ended up having a boxing match on the park green (maybe i should have

) but when he mentioned that he knows a bitch he is gona "breed him with" i just said "oh thats cool,you'll probably see me around ive got 2 staffs and a mastiff and if you see me never let your pup run up because one of the dogs has very bad DA"
So it seems Blakes DA is good for something it stops me having to talk to morons who will breed as soon as their dogs balls start dropping,what a prick its amazing what crap you hear when you go out to grab a pint of milk.

A guy at my park breeds pits and sells them at the flea market where, guess who......dog fighters buy their dogs! He's got some really nice looking dogs to...it such a shame he does that to them!

Ah, Mr. P...why do you do this to yourself? You always end up finding the f-wads who don't know shit about dogs. And then you get all worked up and want to beat the crap outta them. Why don't you save yourself the heartache and just coldcock them right off the bat, take the dog and run.

Here in town I train my dog in the park and you would not believe the # of people with wonderful little puppies.. PBT or mixes of same (or Staffies etc.). The puppies are pulling or biting and they see me work my dog and often comment "Wish my dog did that.."

I tell them that their dog CAN be like that. I ALWAYS offer to help them and, because it is obvious to me that most are not exactly wealthy, I offer to work with them for FREE. Yes. More for the dog than for the person. More to prevent the dog from ending up on a chain in the backyard or in the shelter (if the place has room.. I don't even want to TALK about the no kill 'shelter' here ).

I have helped a few with their dogs. Usually they don't persist.. they seem to WANT big bad unruly dogs. BUT I TRY. I really do TRY.

Often I hear comments like, "Its a Pit Bull. Aren't you afraid to work with him/her?" Then they see my GSD and often I get the comment, "I bet she could put some hurt on someone."

I hear the same thing especially when at the park and sometimes petco/petsmart.

It is interesting that often when I am walking a PB or anything that looks like one at the park calmly in heel position people with other dogs pulling/straining against the leash and acting all out of control often barking frantically.... pull there dogs out of my path, Sometimes when they see me coming they quickly do a 90 or 180 turn and act like my dog is/a the issue? GO FIGURE

Often while in public places it is the dog owners with the somewhat unruley dog that make comments like "I could never own/handle one of those kind of dogs" I am thinking to myself and want to just say to them ... I can understand why because you cannot even control your CHI or Golden!

In order for me to win enough to donate, I need to play! It's the little details that get in the way. I have lots of plans for when I win a big bundle...take care of my family & friends, a few things for me, invest a bunch and then start some sort of animal rescue somewhere (or help one in progress). Well you understand we will need a big weekly allowance and a car and is the pool an in ground and what size as we have a 32 by 16 above ground. I didn't say this was gonna be easy or cheap.

My boyfriend is a trust fund baby and neither of us have grandparents anymore. Our house is four floors, and three are practically untouched. Our pool is not only an in ground, but the deep end is 8 feet deep and I believe it's 36 by 24. We also have a hot tub that seats 7 if that sweetens the pot.

I do have a vision of my Grandpop smoking a pipe on our sun porch, though, so we'll have to work that out in the contract.

Well, the downside is, I live in Michigan. Where you can use the pool maybe 3-4 months a year. But it's still worth it, in my opinion.

Hold on, does that mean there is no winter home/condo in Hawaii/Florida. Seniors need warmth in the winter. I assumed you knew that. So close, yet so far. Oh well I always thought I would work until I died, not a big deal, I like what I do.
