Re: How many dogs owned?

6 in total.

While living with my parents we had four (only one at a time):

Samson - GSD
Barkly - fluffy medium-sized mixed breed (maybe BC or Sheltie x?)
Benji - Spaniel/Sheltie x
Spike - GSD x

And two since I moved into my own apartment:

Natalie - Australian Shepherd/Redbone Coonhound x
Sebastian - Toy Poodle

Re: How many dogs owned?

None of our dogs (except Jaylie) were really mine, but they lived in the same house as me.

Stanley, ESS (We had to put him down because he was ultra-aggressive, and I was a baby, and he bit my older brother a couple of times.)
Sara, ESS (BEST dog in the WHOLE world! She was our babysitter, and my parents trusted her to watch us while we were in the yard. We had to put her down when she was fourteen.)
Baxter, Chocolate Lab
Maggie, Yellow Lab
Cowboy, Queensland Heeler/Lab
Bonnie, ESS
And, of course, Jaylie. She's our first Guide Dog Puppy.

Re: How many dogs owned?

let's see.....
Bandi--Cock-a-poo/GSD/Terrier (got her when i was 17) that i had till my ex ran over her w/ a tractor at 6yrs....
Autumn--Siberian Husky for show: Autumn had to be PTS at 3 1/2 for biting my 2 yr old son (i was standing right there holding his hand while he fed her a treat for the umpteenth time) (i attributed it to her being pregnant), killing 2 of her 2 wk old pups, snapping at a 13 yr old girl that had played w//taken care of her since puppyhood, and a few other aggression problems that were getting worse....
Freska--Siberian Husky; needed a sledding home and i couldn't do it so she was given to a good friend that had a small team....
Sir--125 lb GSD that i had for 6 yrs when his joints just couldn't handle it anymore (shoulders and hips were in bad shape from abuse from previous owner)....
Kid--Collie/Samoyed rescued at 4 mo from the local HS where i lived; got massive tumors at five that progressed to the point of driving him mad (aggression)....
Lassie--Sheltie that i had for 12 1/2 yrs; massive seizures that we lost her to 2 yrs ago....
Tipper--Border Collie, now 10....
Lacey--BC, now 8....
Tir--BC, now 3 (all breeder dogs)....
Saoirse--BC, now 1 (HS rescue)....

many strays/rescues that were placed thru out the yrs (some stayed for a while, some found homes quickly....all mine till that special some one came along)

so i guess 10+....unfortunately, many were not long enuff

Re: How many dogs owned?

Family Dogs:
Princess, Springer Spaniel - A dog my mom found when I was very young that happened to be pregnant.
Caleb, doberman - My mom rehomed him because he was too much dog to own with three young children, her other dog and a litter of puppies.
Buster, Springer Spaniel - The one pup my mom kept for my older brother.

My Dogs:

Deceased
Shelby, sheltie - My first dog. Orignally was going to be my brothers other dog but she was my dog the moment brought home.

Current:
Spanky, Border collie - my mom's idea of a good birthday present. at the time I thought she was crazy to give me a puppy but I am greatful because now that hes grown he is what I consiter the perfect dog.
Bandit, border colloe - Mom's boyfriend at the time also took a puppy from Spanky's litter, the family lost interest, I was suppose to be "babysitting" him while they went on vacation and they just never came and picked him up.

Bridgette: current 2.5 year old Pit/Dalmation mix

Family Dogs
Sandy: 12 year old Lab/Chow mix...still alive and well with my family in CA

Ben : Our family dog who we had to re-home when we planned to move to England...we adopted him to one of our good family friends and they still have him! He's now about 4-5 and doing well...they send pics!

Billy: He is my ex-roommates Red Heeler mix who used to be one of Bridgette's buddies...we still see him at the dog park from time to time.

Shalva will become famous soon enough
Re: How many dogs owned?

As a kid I had Penny....... my parents gave her away when I was 18 and in college..... they were moving and didn't want to be bothered she was 12 years old at the time...... (jerks)

As an adult my husband had two dogs when we got married and they lived to be almost 17 lab golden mixes (notice no stupid fake mixed breed name) they were wonderful....

At present we have five, 3 flat coats, 2 goldens ..... one litter of FCR pups on the way due May 14 thereabouts..... and we will be breeding my golden later this spring..... and that will bring our numbers up to 7 current dogs.....

so what is that......
3 + 5=8 total dogs......
