Hi all
I've made a few comments around the place, but I haven't actually introduced my boys yet, so here it goes!!

This is our blue heeler/kelpie cross, his name is Dog (my husband's dream was to have a dog called Dog. So random, but I'm used to it now...)



This is our spoodle (or cockapoo for all you Americans ) His name is Cupcake

These pics are a few months old, so the boys have grown a bit since they were taken... just couldn't find my most recent ones!

We did buy them from a pet shop back in February, being uneducated. However Dog at least came from a local breeder who was friends with the pet shop owner. Cupcake, I've learnt, is a product of a puppy mill.
They'll be a year old at the end of the year, and they're just so amazing. My husband and I had been desperate to get dogs for a couple of years - we both grew up with plenty of dogs in our respective families.
Hope I can learn from y'all while I'm here, and maybe offer some input here and there too.

We do tend to find that when people meet them, they pick a clear favourite. I guess it's because they're such different breeds...

Heh See, people say that, but once they get to know him they go "Ohhhh... now I get it!" He is a total princessy cupcake Adorable, but totally baby-ish and pouty the minute he doesn't get his way!!

So cute! I'm especially partial to Cupcake, but you can probably tell from my signature that I'm partial to fluffy, curly dogs. They both look like great dogs, though.

Your dogs are beautiful!!

I will say, I never imagined myself getting anything like a heeler - we've always had beagles in my family, and more recently a couple of spoodles. But Dog is such a sweet-heart, he's got such a beautiful, calm nature, I couldn't imagine our little family without him!!
