Some people don't deserve to live

This story is unbelievable. I hope they catch the one that did this and give him a dose of his own medicine.

I had just finished reading this before coming to this site and don't even have the words to express how sickened I am. My heart goes out to the girl and can't even begin to imagine how horrible she feels.

The sad thing is, that this dosn't shock me. There are sooo many sick people out there. This is why when you have to place your pet, do not offer it for free. I don't care what kind of animal it is. Better yet don't get an animal if you know that you might not be able to keep it.

I know that she lost this dog, i'm just saying do not give your pets away. Freaks look for free animals.

Exactly. Obviously there are instances where you have to relinquish the animal for situations beyond your control (serious, long term illness, owner passes away, severe, life threatening allergy) but I really think people need to examine their living circumstances before committing to a pet.

I hear it all the time....when people are talking about getting an animal....they say things like "Oh, I used to have a " (fill in the breed), to which I respond "What happened to it?".....and the response goes something like...... "We had to give her away".

Frankly, that's not acceptable to me unless the person meets the strict and rare aforementioned criteria. A dog is not a little black dress that you eventually tire of. It's a living, breathing mammal that, god willing, is going to be sticking around for a good decade or more....

For the longest time, I used to bemoan about how difficult it was to adopt dogs or cats in my area. Well, after reading things like this, I now understand why.

Ditto my post under "Dog Head Severed". This is a great example of why I wouldn't leave my dog unattended outside and always be cognizant of his whereabouts.

If I were her Dad, I'd curry comb the city till I found this *&%&*&%$# and get me some payback for her.

O MY GOD! That poor girl, I would be horrified and absolutly appalled. How could someone do that to an kid and to an animal? I am absolutly sickened and shaking. I want to vomit. I hope they catch the sick freak who did that. My heart goes out to that girl. I can;t imagine what I would do if something like that ever happened to me.
No matter what the dog did to that person (barked at him? Looked at him wierd? Maybe the girl got into a fight with someone and this is their payback) that is absolutly horrible. That is how serial killers get their start.
