This is a short but powerful movie. To me, it says volumes about our need to look into getting a pet from a shelter/rescue organization rather than seek a purebred pup. Your call, of course. Too many with no homes already exist and are many times consigned to a short life of misery unless we help. If seeing reality bothers you, you may want to just skip watching this. I'm a realist and believe in seeing things for what they are up close without sugar coating the truth.
Pure breds are also available through rescues and shelters, so those with their heart set on a certain breed can still adopt/rescue. Of course there's nothing wrong with a lovable heinz 57 either.
