My dog scared?

Hello

today my dog was acting weired she was barking at nothing all day long
She would sit looking in to the hallway and bark
she was looking at a door and a wall and barking aswell but there was nothing there it was like she could see somthing i couldnt

She also at one point was looking at me and started Growling and barking looking right into my eyes for no reason i was just sitting on my computer
i then moved away and she was still lookin strait and barking at nothing

and about a hour ago me and my brother left the house and my mother told me that she was hidding under my brothers bed the whole time we were gone she would not come out untill my mom let her in to her room

right now this very moment she is setting in the hallway looking at the door to my little sisters room barking

she is a 4month old staffordshire bull terrier and she has done this a few time before

She's probably going through a fear period. As far as barking at walls it's more likely that she's hearing or smelling something in the wall such as rodents or termites than seeing spirits.

Hmmm... could be either or both. Personally, I believe in ruling out the obvious first... It's cold in most parts so is the the heating? wind? or something explainable. Keeping in mind, dogs hearing is much more astute than ours, so I am told. As for looking into your eyes, was she trying to get your attention, questioning why you were not reacting to what she heard? Now for the other, seeing things we can not or '6th sense' sure I am a believer .. why would I think that? ... just a personal belief. Have I ever seen a ghost or spirit .. no can't say that I have but I have also never seen an elephant but i know they exist. LOL!

Talk to her if it happens again and ask her to show you. Give her the attention she is craving. Just don't make a habit out of it cuz that could backfire into rewarding bad behaviors and you could find yourself 'chasing' something (noise or spirit) a lot! LOL

Is she having trouble with her vision? Maybe cloudiness or something more?
