How about probably the two most famous dogs in history:
Lassie, a Collie and Rin Tin Tin, a GSD.

btw, Pete was as AmStaff not an APBT. Petey was one of the first AmStaffs to be registed with the AKC. AmStaffs and Pits are of course closely related, but they are different breeds.

Santa's Little Helper is definitely a greyhound....a retired racing greyhound, to be exact

There's Soaring Cindy...an NGA greyhound (though she never raced). She has been on TV, magazines and holds the world high jump record for dogs.

Everybody loves aymond never had a dog, unless you count chopsy 9he was only in a very few shows) was a bulldog.
