Designer Dog secrets? The following news article is on Designer Dogs in Japan. Note the part about deformities. I wonder how many Designer Dogs here are born with deformities. Might this not be an aspect of this that we're not told? http://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/28/bu...erland&emc=rss

I would like to blame Paris Hilton for this mess. Would that be fair?

It is vile and it honestly makes me ill. A couple of years ago I stumbled across some websites of two coloured and even tri coloured daschunds - and they were teeny mini. I e-mailed them out of curiosity and said I have never seen daschys like that and asked "how were they made?" Of course they said the best of very selective breeding. Which really is breeding recessive genes with recessive genes. I didn't express any interest in buying but both breeders did a hard sell -they would give me a discount and ship to the UK (from the US) BUT I don't get my money back if the puppy dies during transport. Horrible

Anyways, that is disgusting about the inbreeding...those poor dogs. I can't believe that it has gotten that bad. |

"Both Paris Hilton and Little Lily believe that pets reflect their owners' personal style and thus should dress with flair," said Alameddine.
If Hilton's dog is supposed to reflect her style, it shouldn't be wearing any clothes at all. And should be videotaped having a fling with another dog.

That's all we need, pups running around naked with night vision video recorders saying "that's hot". I think I need to buy stock in Doggles, I foresee Doggles the size of hub caps flying off the shelf no time soon!

The people to blame are the @($% breeders and puppymills that keep turning out these muts for profit! I figure most of Hollywood and their cronies have all the sense of clay pots! Just cause ya got money doesn't make ya smart!
