| Re: Mi dog Pick up the poop and dispose of it properly. If your dog eats it first hit yourself for not being quick enough. Do not punish your dog. If it's his own poop he is eating there may be a nutritional deficiency. If he's otherwise healthy you might consider feeding a product intended to stop poop eating (also called Coprophagia), such as Solid Gold S.E.P. |

| Re: Mi dog Never, never hit your dog! You're just going to make it afraid of you. Some dogs like poop, for a variety of reasons. Just don't hit your dog. And, stop listening to your friend's dog-training advice.
If it's eating dog poop out of the yard, then pick up after it... don't leave the poop there for it to eat.
Also, there are things you can put in the dog's food to make it's poop unpalatable to the dog.
Are you interested in those things? |

| Re: Mi dog You must have been talking to my mom who would smack my dog for whatever. Don't hit your dog!!!
You can put some pineapple in his food...if it's his poop that he's eating, the pineapple will turn him off. The better thing to do is pick it up right after he goes but if you don't do that, then add the pineapple to his food or get the Solid Gold S.E.P. as previously suggested.
Another thing I would suggest is you and your dog take some basic obedience classes. They will teach you how to train your dog humanely and without hitting. |

But then I talked to someone in person who said about the same thing. So if you posted this as a joke, keep youir day job. Comedy Clubs are not for you. If this was not a joke post then please go buy or borrow a few books on dog ownership and training. Heck you can just browse the posts here and know hitting is not right.

For a "not-so-insulting" word, how 'bout "improbable?" |
