| Happy Father's Day
To all of you who had the wisdom to bring a dog into your home. Thanks fr the patience when the kids said, "I PROMISE I will take care of it, yet you are up at 2 am in the rain, snow or cold taking the puppy outside whilst your 2 legged kid is sleeping peacefully. Thank you for not getting too mad when the puppy ate your favorite shoe, or peed on your briefcase. Thank you for knowing that the responsibility of taking care of a pet is a big step in learning what adult responsibility is all about. Thank you for giving up the new golf clubs because the dog needed surgery. Thank you for rushing out of an important meeting because you child called crying that the dog got out and is lost. Thank for not giving up looking for him til he was found.
Thanks Dad, those lessons are life long, and because of you, they made me a better person. |
