Dog biting tail

Our dog began biting his tail recently after we had gotten him fixed. He is biting it so that there is bleeding at the tip. Anyone know why he is doing this and what can be done to fix it?

Thanks!

Im not cure why he would be doing this, but depending on what color your dog is, You can put that "not chew" spray, tobasco, or vinegar on the tip of his tail, its kind of like a childs thumb, lol!!! Mine used to do that and i put vinegar on the tip of him tail and he stopped, lol. It worked for me!
