True, but if this is your argument then you are catering to a VERY specific market...that is, people who own brachycephalic dogs. Also, I'm not entirely certain of what the weather is like over there, but chances are your business would be quite seasonal. If it only gets really hot a few months of the year, then during the rest of it, business is going to drop because people will be just as content to play outside for free.

Honestly, if your main selling point is the air-conditioning, I would be a bit worried. The air-conditioning is great and everything, but people aren't going to pay $20-$30 a month to let their dogs play in a cooler place for a few hours a week. You need another plus point, like training facilities that no other place offers, or maybe affiliation with a local pet store or something.

Re: Would you take your dog to an inside dog park/gym?

something like this could/would work if you could find a vet (maybe one just trying to get their own practice going?), a groomer and a trainer (or a couple of each) that would go in w/ you on the renting of the facilities.....they could all take a "space" and set up their own facilities there, the vet could be on hand in the case of the emergencies, as well, and if there seems to be any ? in anyones mind on the health of any of the dogs coming thru, they could do a check.....it would have to be w/ proof of all vaccinations on all the animals coming in....and set it up like the one mentioned b/4 w/ all the different areas for big/small/DA/etc.....some one would need to go thru every evening and disinfect/sanitize the place and make sure that it is kept clean.....but, w/ a lot of thought and work put into it, it could work...
