argh!! i hate people sometimes.

there are these people that live across the street that NEVER put their dogs on leashes. and their dogs are REALLY aggressive. One is a giant poodle and the other is a lab/shepard mix. In the first week I had Rosie, I was taking her out for a walk, and these two huge dogs came charging across the street at her and tried to attack her, which is really scary, especially in the first week of having a puppy. luckily, the owners ran after them and got them before they could hurt her. they gave me some fake apology and took their dogs away.

well last night, i heard them let their dogs out and I heard a horrible noise come from outside my house that sounded like another dog in pain. i looked out my front door and saw the two dogs had done the same thing except the owners didnt get there on time and the dogs had bitten this tiny little dog! the owners of the dog looked really upset (understandably) and were carrying their poor tiny little dog home. and i saw the owner doing the same thing. giving the fake apology and just taking the dogs away!

i think its so unfair that people who are responsible and want to take their dogs on a walk ON A LEASH have to be worried about their dog getting attacked by agressive dogs with irresponsible owners. ugh i hope the otherowners called the cops on those people. they shoudl be ashamed of themselves....

ugh sorry i just needed to vent. it just pisses me off that people are so idiotic!

Hopefully AC will get called and the bite will be reported this time.

Re: argh!! i hate people sometimes.

When our "big" dog was a puppy she was attacked & bitten my our neighbor's malamute. The malamute was on a chain, but he broke the chain and bit our puppy, they offered and did pay the vet fees. Our "little" dog attacked a different neighbor's dog (bigger than her) and they were both on leashes. I felt horrible, and we offered and ended up paying the vet fees. But unleashed dogs attacking other dogs is just WRONG!

Re: argh!! i hate people sometimes.

Maybe talk with them and give them a name of a good trainer...

I hate to see dogs blamed and there is no way they will get any better without training...

Maybe the owners have no clue (not excusing it, but trying to help) and need some help as in where to go for it or how to go about it.

They may even want to have help in finding home for the dogs, they may not even want them...

The first thing I would do is see what I could do to help the pups....before they do damage or get hurt themselves.

Yes, humans suck sometimes...but don't let the dogs suffer because the human is an idiot.
