I don't know of any restaurants like that in the LA area. Actually, they may not exist because it might be a health code violation. I live in Long Beach and there are a bunch of places on 2nd Street that welcome people to bring their dog if they are eating outside.

Central Park in Huntington Beach has a cafe that allows dogs. I haven't been there but you could make a nice day of it, go to the dog park, eat at the cafe, walk around the park. Dogs aren't allowed in the nature preserve but there is great bird watching for all concerned everywhere.

From the HB Offical City Website-
"Park Bench Café’ is located on Goldenwest Street near Talbert Lake. Pets can dine with their owners and enjoy a special pet menu. Indoor and outdoor seating are provided, although, Park Bench Café has mostly outdoor seating. Breakfast and lunch are served everyday."

I have taken my dog to many restaurants and sat outside. Unless the area is enclosed I don't know if there is a problem. Been a while though, managing two dogs is sort of hard.

ah kathy! thanks huntington beach is very close as i live in long beach as well, i love the fact that they have a doggie menu@! =] I will go this weekend and tell you how it is.

2nd street is great for dogs, i love that they put water bowls outside of shops. Them can you recommend any other places in long beach that have any type of petservice, day care, grooming etc. that your recommend?
