Hey, what meds did the doc give? I hopw he gave Rymadyl and prednisone, both are anti inflammitory and the Rymadyl is a pain killer as well.

he got prednisone, methocarbimol, and tramadol

Tramadol is good stuff. It really works and in my experience better than rimadryl. Keep us posted.

i wasn't able to talk to my vet today about the antibiotic you suggested. they were closed today (why, i don't know) and apparently don't have voicemail. i went there right after work to talk to them on top of trying to call them all day. so i'm going to get a hold of them first thing tomorrow.

Tramadol is VERY good stuff and it doesn't drug up like some pain meds. That's what my husband was given when he blew a disk in his back.
