| Re: I need your best guess... He looks like a Boxer mix to me, could be many breeds really. Maybe Lab, or Pit, or American Bulldog, or Mastiff, ect. With his face/structure I don't really see too much pit like features but I guess you never know. |

| Re: I need your best guess... Definitely some Boxer blood there. To be honest, I don't see any APBT features...his head is more Mastiff then anything and his body can be attributed to the Boxer heritage.
So I'd say something along the lines of Boxer/Mastiff |

I was trying to place the facial look in the 2nd picture and just couldn't jog my thoughts. I think also with the thickness of the front legs. He is more sturdy then most Boxers. |

I would be comfortable saying he is a boxer mix. |

| Re: I need your best guess... okay his rear assembly and the stance of his hind legs are very pit bull, but the proportions of his front are too thick for a pit bull. def boxer in the front, the head looks bully and the muzzle very molosser so my vote goes to pit/boxer cross. |

| Re: I need your best guess... This is why I love DF. I had never heard of the presa canario before, so I googled it LOL. Thanks! So, now that I've seen the breed, I totally agree. Rear end - boxer, front end - presa canario (the front leg bulk/spacing and the droopy jowls). |

You don't happen to live in Windsor do you? LOL I just got back from the dog park and there was a dog there that looked very similar to him! |

The assembly in angulation is somewhat that of a Boxer. Rotts and Corso will also stand somewhat like that too a degree but with different anglulation. |

Presa? I always thought that they were big, bulky dogs. I discounted Mastiff as I thought he didn't have the size of one... I should say that another reason I thought he was pit was because of his size. He sits comfortably at around 45lbs. Right now... he's sort of skinny. I'm trying to get him to gain more weight. He also stands at a little over 20" |

| Re: I need your best guess... He could just be pure boxer, though definitely not conformationaly correct. The fact that his tail is docked is just a bit more eveidence that he could be pure. There's not alot of vets out there that will do tail docks and almost all of them require it to be a purebred of a traditionally docked breed, at least that's how it is in my area. Of course there's still the possiblity that the breeder did it themselves or they went to a vet that didn't care what breed he was. If you really want to know for sure you could always do a DNA test on him. |

That was my first guess without even reading about him. He sure is a cutie and I love the name Ubi. |
