Re: Am I being a big baby?

Well you have not really had your dog that long, be prepared!!! You have the worlds greatest breed!lolo they know how to get closer and closer and begining to dominate you with love and affection, you will never be able to say no, your home will be full of doggy toys. he will wake you up very early in the morning even on your days off, want you to go to bed at the same time when he is ready, or he will bug you untill you go to bed. Will become very jealous if anyone else shows you affection. Be carefull where you step he will always be close by. He likes to open the bathroom door, you will never have privacy! Will stop now do not want to scare you, thats just the beginning. Hope you have a good camera, they love to have their picture taken.

Naw your not scaring me... I did alot of reserch on the breed before we got him... We fell in love with our friends little schnauzer and so the hunt was on... I must have 10 books on mini schnauzers...I have a hearing loss, and he is already alerting me to people at my door and when I drop stuff he picks it up ... I have a little work to do on his recall but over all he is a great dog..And he does like to have his pics taken... He is a real ham... He goes to work with me every day... And he is with me where ever I go and that is fine with me ...He is my little buddy

Re: Am I being a big baby?

As a tech, I think it's cute & sweet when owners are that worried about their furbabies. I'd much, much, much rather someone who cares about their pets (even to the point of being a pain in the rear about it) than people who don't care enough.

Like I told a client who apologized for calling every day for a week on minor things with her dog, we're all the same way when it comes to our own pets. If you're not, if you can't sympathize with a worrywort owner, you're in the wrong field.

Even if you think a client is being annoying about it, at least save the snide comments for when they're out of earshot.

Re: Am I being a big baby?

I've had Maddy for just about 7 yrs., and have only been separated from her the few days I was hospitalized for surgical repair of a broken ankle and tibia. I don't like being away from her or Beau, and find myself steering away from activities in which I can't bring the dogs! LOL
