I'm VERY sorry to hear that your Babydoll ran away! I'd say keep looking and put out an ad with a reward.

As far as the other pup, here is an article by Dr. Ian Dunbar that may help you stop the biting . I've used it and it really does work. You do have to be ruthlessly consistant as any leeway could unintentioally reenforce that it is OK to bite.

So Sorry!

I am truly sorry about your "babydoll". I just recently suddenly lost my cockapoo, so I totally understand your pain. I know that it sounds cliche', but it will get better. Probably not anytime soon though. I would not stop searching just yet. Best Wishes,

One thing I've seen be very effective is to target the kids in the neighborhood. Put up signs that they will notice - like cartoon characters, etc. And offer a reward that they will appreciate. Most kids that get monetary rewards end up having to put it in the bank at their parents insistence, so they really don't get much out of it, but if you give them something fun, like a pizza party for them and 10 of their friends, they are more likely to take note. And kids know everything that happens in a neighborhood, including what houses have new dogs.

Good luck.
