Puppy teething/Evil breath

My puppy is five months old and her puppy teeth are falling out and being replaced by the adult ones. And her breath smells like butt/death/fish!!! It's absolutely disgusting. I don't believe there is anything wrong with her. Is this normal? Ugh!

This doesn't sound normal to me. Has she been to the vet recently? I could only venture guesses...like maybe it's the smell of decaying blood. Have you looked into her mouth and seen anything weird? Have you started getting her use to having her teeth brushed yet? I'd probably call my vet to get some feelers.

Hi,

As I understand it, bad breath (even within a puppy's mouth) is not normal. I would definitely seek professional help.

Both my pups had serious stink breath for a week or two while losing the baby teeth. Dog mints help, but it can stink. If it is prolonged or visually lloks bad, you can always take it to the vet for a quick look.
