what better job than to get paid to go out and "play" w/ your dog(s)......my 2 girls have just recently started a "new job"......they are now officially Goose Control dogs.....this is our 2nd wk and we are all just loving it.....Border Collies live for this sort of thing and i wish that we had had it in our area b/4 now.....here's a pic of them in the van (the other 2 are my friends dog who are also doing it [mine are the 2 larger bl/wh])

basically, they chase geese.....of course this is controlled by voice and they have to follow directions well.....sometimes they may have to swim in the ponds if the geese are out there and at this time of the yr in WI that's pretty cold.....but come spring they will be in the water alot, i'm sure.....we only have 2 sites that we check/do twice a day for now but that at least gives us a chance to get their training complete on them b/4 the busy time starts up in Feb......but, now it's time to start looking for my 3rd partner (another BC, that is)

edit: oh, they also have to understand that some of the geese they have to leave be (if there are injured ones or such they get to stay, along w/ their mate, as geese mate for life)
