Smile What should i do?

MY dog is in pain right now she is a 10 year old Shepherd..I think i should put her down for her sake but i will miss her so much!!!What should i do?

I also think you should put Shadow down. If she dies, always remember the good times. My chihuahua ran away and I still miss him.

If she is in constant pain then you might need to consider something like this.

But if she is in pain because of a slipped disc or because of an injury that could be helped with chiro or massage therapy, that's the route that I would go.

I don't believe on putting animals through a lot of greif for OUR sakes (we're not willing to let go), but I don't believe on giving up on them too quickly either.

I had a female with cushings, and she was diagnosed at 8 years old. When she was 11 she got pancriatitas - we weren't sure if it was worth the money and the stress of the surgery, but I got out my credit cards and made it work. She was in fairly good condition when she got the pancrititas, and had lots of spunk left in her - always playing.
She lived happily to the ripe old age of 15.

old age gets to all of us but i think i would take her to the vet and make sure that something can't be done frist.
