| Hey!!! HEY!!!
It's about 8:05 right now, and my dog is going nuts!!!
My yellow lab, Reilly, put his bed in his mouth and climbed up the stairs with it. Then when he was sure we were looking, he dropped it down the staircase!!! My sister can't stop laughing. She took a picture with her Razr and is sending it to everyone right now...
It's not that funny, but it's better than nothing... |

| My beagle babies my dog zelda chews things and often expensive things one time she chewed an electric cord another a carpet. Sure enough when she chewed some thing cheap (a container from the garbage) she chewed it on the oriental carpet. We still havent gotten all the shards out. |

| toy poodle I posted this story before, but the cut and paste buttons are not letting me put it in here. So I'll recap. My tiny toy poodle was a devoted, sweet little guy, about 6 pounds. When I first bought him his teeth were so bad it took three or four series of antibiotics and about 3 anesthesia and teeth pulling sessions to make him healthy. So you know he didn't have a lot of teeth the rest of his life.
Anyway when I'd go out, he would start gathering my shoes and boots and take them downstairs to the entry hall or into the living room. Some of the boots were as big as him, and with no teeth and taking them from up to down, he sure must have worked hard. Sometimes he had to work the bifold closet door a lot to get it open to get a few more treasures.
When I came home the little guy would be sitting at the pile, never anything damaged, nor anything but the boots or shoes, mind you, and looking very pleased with himself. He had the bigger piles if I'd been gone quite a while, and those nights he slept very well indeed, he'd had a darn fine workout. |

| Elsa reminded me this morning of a funny thing she does. I allow Elsa to sleep in my bed on some night, especially in the winter...she makes for a good heating pad. Anyway, she is pretty good about not waking me up, and usually I'm the one coaxing her to get out of bed, but on the times she does wake me up it's usually because she is breathing on my face...and when I open my eyes she's looking at me like "dude, are you up?". |

| My 4 and half month old puppy knocked down a Dr Pepper from the table last week and started licking the carpet where it spilled. I wasnt in the room at the time but got there before he licked up much at all, literally 20 seconds. I made a big point of yelling"no bad dog" repeatedly as i know that caffiene isnt good for dogs.
Fast forward to yesterday, i was upstairs and i heard him playing with my older Husky. I then heard a pop can getting knocked over. I rushed downstairs to see my puppy playing across the room from a can that had been knocked on the floor. My puppy pauses.....looks at me and...
Runs across the room picking up the can, then runs to me and gives me the can!!!!! After he gave it to me he licked my hand and wagged his tail as if to say " I remember this!! Shiny, sweet smelling can bad!" |

| another one The owner of Jake, an 8 month old male pitbull puppy, brought him in to the vet office where I was working, for his neutering. Naturally he had not been fed breakfast that morning, and nothing at all the last evening. By now he was pretty hungry. She said the morning had started off with him just standing for awhile looking back and forth from her to his empty food dish. Finally, he moved closer to the dish, and nudged it a few times, keeping an eye on her to see if she was getting the message. When she continued to ignore him, he took action.. He picked that big dish up and started THROWING it against the wall, over and over, throw, retrieve, throw again, and again, and then watching her to see if she was understanding YET.? |

| Lilly (5 month old papillon) doesn't really do anything except all her funny puppy antics, but 2 of my cats will come head butt you when you are sleeping when they are ready for breakfast and the other one will take his time getting as much hair in his mouth as possible and then yank as hard as he can to get you up for breakfast!! |

| a few days ago a few days ago my dog abby decided to be let out at 2:00am and so she got on my bed and sat on my foot. I began to wake up and then go back to sleep. All of the sudden i hear a loud snort and again and again untill i woke up then i let her out. she takes her sweet time so at 2:30 i let her in. She procedes to squat and wipe her butt on the oriental carpet. Then when we finally get upstairs (i did nt clean it up because i knew my mom would) she goes and sits on my pillow and snorts so i move her to the foot of the bed and when i woke up later that morning i had her on my head he but in my face and she was snoring contently i didnt want to disturb her so instead of shoving her i gently moved her, and she still woke up. She gave me a dirty look and proceded to walk up to my head and pass gas in my face. So i got up and showered and i started my day |

| breakfast? My tall, lanky brother was visiting for a week or so with me. He always got up about an hour or two after me, so he would make his own brekkie normally. So this one morning I had finished my chores and decided I wanted to make myself the kind of breakfast I don't usually indulge in. Bacon and eggs, toast, coffee, the works. I prepared it, it looked great, and when I sat down to eat it I found I didn't want one bite of it. I knew bro was not going to be up for at least an hour, so thought I would just give the dogs a great treat and divide it in two for them.
Just then to my surprise around the corner came my brother. Before realizing what I was saying, or how it sounded, I said, " Hey, want this? I was going to give it to the dogs, but you can have it if you like." I realized what I had said when I saw the tiny smile start around his mouth, and he graciously said, " No thanks, think I'll just pass on that." We still tease him and ask him if he'd like to have the dog's breakfast to this day. |
